First post on the new board. Appropriate it's about our first event of the year.
Fred Doot is running this years Ice Bowl. An event we have not had since '99. Thanks Doot
Tee off is at 10am
First round singles on a mixed A and B layout.
Second round is a mixed layout too, but it's doubles and partners will be deciced by polar scores. Best score with worst, second best with second worst, etc...
This event is going to be great. I jump at any chance to try out a new/different format.
Questions: - should we bring canned goods? extra donations? - any kind of food/pot luck thing going on here? - does the mixed layout include any pond and/or field holes?

I've already received packages from PDGA Top Pros including Brian Schweberger, Jay and Des Reading, and Juliana Korver - all of whom generously donated signed discs and other goodies to include for our auction. I've also got a Skylands Classic DVD (donated by Jen Padham), Bill Newman's got a large bottle of Stone Beer ( www.stonebrew.com ) and I'm donating some PDGA calendars for auction and CTPs..
Bring some extra loot and walk home with some nice auction items..
Dootifer, I'll be bringing a couple discs and whatnot for the auction.

Hey Doot- My chances of getting to play on Sunday are looking pretty slim (work is a little crazy right now) but if you need my small grill, chairs, or anything else let me know. At the very least, I'll drop in on my break with some food donations. Who knows, maybe I'll be done with work and get lucky enough (???) to come freeze with y'all!
